TikTok is known for its short videos, but that could soon change.
According to JS, TikTok plans to allow users to post clips of up to 60 minutes in an effort to better compete with Google’s YouTube.
The new feature is currently being trialled by a limited group of users in select markets and it remains to be seen if there will be a wider rollout in the long term.
When TikTok launched in September 2016, clips were allowed to be no longer than 15 seconds, which contributed greatly to the platform’s popularity.
