Winnipeg woman dies after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning, police say – Winnipeg

A 32-year-old woman was killed just after midnight Monday after being struck by a vehicle, Winnipeg police say.

Police said they were called to the scene at Notre Dame Avenue and McPhillips Street around 12:10 p.m.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital in unstable condition, but later died from her injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with officers, police said. The investigation has now been taken over by the Traffic Department’s Collision Investigation Division.
