The reality TV favorite What not to wear is back with a new and modern twist: Wear whatever you want.

Former co-hosts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly reunite to give their expert fashion advice to those in need, but this time the duo lets their on-screen clients take the lead in defining their personal style.

In Wear whatever you want, The newly announced eight-part series, produced by Amazon Prime Video, London and Kelly, will help style-challenged individuals fine-tune their dressing while maintaining the quirks of their already established looks.

“The world has changed a lot since ‘What Not to Wear’, and thankfully so have we,” London and Kelly said in an interview. press release. “Today we have no interest in telling people what to do based on the norms of society – because there are no norms anymore!”

Just like the original, Wear whatever you want is a makeover show that encourages participants to dress more stylishly, while offering the audience at home fun tips and tricks for their own wardrobe. The only difference: the new iteration probably won’t cut off the episode’s client before offering help.

“Style is still an important form of communication, and we’re excited to show new customers how to tailor their personal message to their life goals,” promised London and Kelly, both 55. “It’s time to embrace individual style. to celebrate, not to prescribe.”

A description of the show says London and Kelly will “empower every customer to live out their fashion fantasy and find the truth of their style on the journey of a lifetime.”


The immensely popular one What not to wear aired on TLC starting in 2003 and lasted 10 seasons before ending in 2013.

After the series ended, London and Kelly publicly feuded over the years.

The guest duo quashed their feud in 2023. At the time, they told Today show they had both grown tired of seeing discussions about theirs online tense relationship and decided to talk it out.

“After seeing the same clickbait story over and over again on Instagram about how much we hated each other, I thought, ‘I can’t handle this anymore.’ Because we don’t really hate each other,” Kelly said. “We actually love each other.”

Kelly told the outlet that he and London have always had “very strong feelings toward each other.” In a 2017 collection of essays, Kelly wrote that he either “adored” or “despised” London during their working relationship.

The pair had “an emotional conversation” during the COVID-19 pandemic and put their feud behind them, Kelly said.

“One thing I would say about forgiveness is that if you don’t let it go, he famously said it’s like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die,” London said. “So don’t hold grudges. Don’t do it. Find a way through.”

London and Kelly are both listed as executive producers for Wear whatever you want. At the time of writing, there is no premiere date and no Canadian programming information available.
