Victoria Beckham uses new Netflix doc to ‘desperately stay relevant’

Netflix bought the rights to Victoria’s new project after her scene-stealing performance in David’s own project four-part Netflix series, Beckhamwas watched by more than 208 million people worldwide.

In a viral moment from the doctor, Victoria said she grew up “very working class”, and when David pressed her about the car she was driven to school in, she replied: “…a Rolls-Royce”.

She embraced the moment by releasing silly t-shirts that read: “My dad had a Rolls-Royce.”

The moment caught the attention of Netflix, whose executives were impressed by her candid humor. A release date for the new docuseries has not yet been announced.
