Tornado Crosses Nebraska Highway, Wild Video Shows

A tornado in Nebraska made many drivers’ days scarier… forming right on the side of a highway before crossing the highway, a new viral video shows.

The video, currently making the rounds on social media, shows the tornado on I-80 near Omaha taking shape on one side of the roadway before making its way across multiple lanes to the other side of the road .

The weather event is scaring some drivers…who seem unsure of how to proceed at this point and are either slowing down or hitting the gas hard to get past it.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the incident… but we do know that tornadoes have devastated numerous states in the Midwest in recent days.

People are posting videos from just before the storm… and then sharing photos of the wreckage left behind in the wake of the powerful winds.

CNN reports that nearly five million people are currently on storm watch… with multiple tornadoes also reported in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.

Of course, these types of megastorms bring with them storm chasers… uploading videos as they travel across the state in search of the next tornado to follow.
