The assassination attempt took place during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania last Saturday, July 13, where a 20-year-old gunman opened fire on Trump.

The attacker, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was placed on a rooftop just 450 feet away from the ex-president, wounding Trump and killing an onlooker. Two others were seriously injured.

The gunman was captured on video in the background of the Pennsylvania rally at least an hour before he shot the GOP nominee.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Crooks’ video was recorded by an attendee at the event. It showed a man matching Crooks’ description pacing the edge of the building that he later climbed to shoot at Trump.
