The campaign for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections has been completed

A 48-hour silence period in 94 Lok Sabha constituencies across 12 states and Union Territories began at 6 pm on May 5 with the conclusion of campaigning for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Voting will take place on May 7. By the end of this phase, elections for more than half of the total constituencies will be completed.

HD Revanna is remanded in police custody for three days until May 8; he says arrest is a “political conspiracy.”

Janata Dal (S) MLA and former minister HD Revanna, who has been arrested in a kidnapping case, were taken into judicial custody by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday.
