A superstar that WWE is reportedly eyeing tweeted that she fantasized about an Ultimate X match at WrestleMania. Of course, this will only fuel speculation about her next move.
An Ultimate X match is one of TNA’s best signature matches. Think of it as a WWE ladder match to win a title. However, instead of a ladder, two cables hang crossed in an X-shape in the ring. Superstars must first climb up and then wrap their legs around the rope before collecting the title or “X” mark. Jordynne Grace was part of the first ever Knockouts Ultimate X match in 2022.
Fighting selection had reported that Jordynne Grace could renegotiate the terms of her TNA contract. Although her original contract was reportedly set to expire in August 2025, she managed to make it back to January 2025. WWE is clearly aware of this and is reportedly interested in signing her to a full-time deal.
Shawn Michaels had done a funny collaboration with her and rapper on social media Sexy Red. He was quite vocal about his praise for the TNA Knockouts Champion.
Jordynne Grace recently tweeted that she fantasized about watching an Ultimate X match at WrestleMania.
“You all start fantasizing about watching an Ultimate X match at WrestleMania, or is it just me.”
It’s certainly unlikely that we’ll see a signature TNA match on a show as big as WrestleMania, but given their familiar relationship with the sports-entertainment juggernaut, it might be something that could happen on NXT.

Jordynne Grace deservedly received a lot of praise for her short run thus far in NXT. Many are now wondering what the star would do next when her current TNA contract expires.
According to Fighting selectionJordynne Grace’s endorsement for her three NXT appearances led to her earning six figures. It’s not a bad chunk of change considering the number of appearances.
But you could argue that Jordynne Grace did more than enough to earn that amount. In her match against Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship, she tore a small part of her ear due to the way her piercing had come out. It was a gruesome injury, but she was back in action in TNA in no time.
It will be interesting to see how Jordynne Grace’s contract situation develops and plays out. WWE seems to like her a lot and the new relationship with TNA could be a way for talent to transition seamlessly from one company to another.
