Budget airline SpiceJet will spread its wings to the fascinating island of Phuket, Thailand, from May 31, 2024, with daily, direct flights. The airline will operate daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi and Phuket, giving travelers easy access to the Thai tourist hotspot.
Known as the ‘Pearl of the Andaman Sea’, Phuket is revered for its picturesque beaches, vibrant nightlife and rich cultural wealth. From serene coastal retreats to bustling markets, Phuket offers a wide range of experiences for visitors to enjoy. The airline said the new new service aims to provide travelers with a seamless and cost-effective way to explore Phuket’s countless charms.
Expressing his excitement, Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, SpiceJet said, “We are delighted to launch our inaugural service to Phuket, a globally renowned destination. We are confident that our new daily non-stop flights will be the preferred choice for both leisure and business travellers, ensuring a smooth journey to Phuket and allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the allure of the island. This initiative reinforces our commitment to expanding our international network and offering passengers a wide range of exciting destinations.
This new route to Phuket will complement SpiceJet’s existing operations to Bangkok from Kolkata and Delhi, further improving connectivity to Thailand from India. The flight from Delhi departs at 9:00 AM and arrives in Phuket at 3:15 PM. The return flight will depart Phuket at 4:15 PM and reach Delhi at 7:20 PM.
