The actress, 46, and her former costar Paul Adelstein launched them Rewatch the ‘Prison Breaking’ podcast earlier this year. “It’s kind of given me the medicine to go back and be able to look at those early projects…despite the rampant misogyny, despite all the challenges, despite being the only woman around on a show like that,” Callies explained . the Monday, May 20, episode of Rachel Bilson‘S Podcast ‘Broad Ideas’.

Despite experiencing some not-so-fun moments on set, Callies noted that some of her male costars were “great and some were totally gentlemen” and that she made many “lifelong friends” on the show.
On the other hand, Callies told Bilson, 42, and her cohost: Olivia Allenthat she initially “wasn’t ready” to visit again Jailbreak past on her podcast. “I didn’t want this to send me into a spiral of, ‘What did I let them do to me? What did I make them say to me? What have I endured? What didn’t I report?’ All that,” she stated.
