Rory McIlroy looked extra cheerful during his conversation with Amanda Balionis at the Canadian Open – and they even hugged after… a big deal because people think they’re dating.

Here’s the deal… romance rumors have been swirling about the golf pro and the CBS Sports reporter in recent weeks — this after they’ve seemingly gotten cozy on PGA tours lately, not to mention the fact that they ‘ We’re both single… well, Rory certainly is.

Rumor has it that Amanda is out and about with her husband, and so is Rory, of course divorce his wife …which makes these photos that TMZ Sports took of it on Sunday all the more interesting.

Take a look… these photos were taken at Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ontario – where the Open was played… and where Rory interviewed Amanda.

As everyone watched their body language throughout the interview – chock full of smiles and giggles – the photos we got here, which we’re told were taken on camera right at the end of their chat, seemed to tell more of a full story about their vibe BTS.

As you can see… Rory and Amanda were munching when the cameras stopped rolling… and the two even shared a hug. But other than that, there’s no real PDA.

Like we said… people think these two are an item now, and while neither has directly addressed the speculation… there are reports that they are just friends/professionals.

Hard to say if these photos prove the case either way… but it certainly raises an eyebrow.

Anyway… we’re sure the golfing public will continue to speculate — the fact is, they’re both good-looking (maybe?) bachelors… and they’re also in the same field… quite literally, a golf course.

When they’re fucking, they sure make a hot couple… we’ll say that, to say the least.
