Rita Moreno recently admitted that she is “constantly calling out for help” to her daughter and has trouble “remembering names” at age 92.

Actress, singer and dancer Rita Moreno recently admitted that at the age of 92, she is ‘constantly calling for help’ to her daughter and has difficulty ‘remembering names’, RadarOnline.com has learned.

At the age of 92, Moreno talked about her life during a recent interview with People magazine.

Moreno opened up about her life at age 92 during a rare interview conducted over the weekend.

According to the lover West Side Story actress, she depends on her 67 year old daughter, Fernanda Luisa Gordonin her old age.

‘I call all the time [Fernanda] to do things,” the famed actress, singer and dancer told People on Sunday. “I have a problem remembering names, names of things and names of people.”

“It’s so much part of being 92 now,” Moreno continued. “There are times when I need her wisdom, and that happens more often than you might think, especially at this age. Being 92 is not easy in many ways, and it is something that is difficult to understand.”

Moreno also discussed her old age and the possibility that she may not be around much longer – especially after the death of her late husband, Leonard Gordonin June 2010. He was 90.

According to the beloved “West Side Story” actress, she is dependent on her 67-year-old daughter, Fernanda Luisa Gordon, in her old age.

“I think as you, the parent, get older, I believe the child has to think about, well, at some point this is going to end,” says the Singing in the rain actress admitted. “It’s not something Fernanda and I are sitting around talking about, but I just know she needs to think about it.”

“I think we’re both pretty brave about it,” Moreno continued. “Well, we’re very honest… very, very honest with each other.”

Moreno and her late husband welcomed Fernanda in 1967. Fernanda, the couple’s only child, has since become a respected actress in her own right.

“People are constantly noticing our closeness and commenting: I wish I felt that way about my mother!” Moreno said this weekend.

“It’s part of being 92 now,” Moreno acknowledged this weekend.

Moreno also discussed her other family members, her career and the fact that at age 92 she continues to be offered roles. She recently starred in the 2023 film 80 for Brady alongside Jane Fonda And Sally Field.

“It’s the best thing in the world,” Moreno said of grandmotherhood. ‘And when my grandsons were born, I could have died of happiness. I’m so lucky that we got to know each other so well.’

Moreno has two grandchildren – Justin25, and Cameron23. They are shared by Moreno’s daughter Fernanda and Fernanda’s husband, David Tyler Fisher.

Moreno recently starred alongside Jane Fonda and Sally Field in the 2023 film “80 for Brady.”

“I mean, enough has been said,” she said said last month. “It’s so stupid, look at all these things [President Joe] Biden has accomplished.”

“It’s terrible,” Moreno continued, “it’s terrible!”
