Michelle Pfeiffer Confirmed to Headline Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Madison’

MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios have officially announced that Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer will star in the executive production Madison, The next part of Taylor Sheridan in the Yellowstone franchise, previously titled 2024.

Deadline previously reported that Pfeiffer was involved in the project, along with Patrick J. Adams and Kurt Russell, who have yet to be officially confirmed. Pfeiffer and Russell had been in discussions for months, with their names first attached to the series in February and June.

According to the logline, the series is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in central Montana’s Madison River Valley.

“Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace,” said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO of Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios. “She is the perfect anchor for the latest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, Madisonfrom the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.

Madison is executive produced by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer and Keith Cox.

Pfeiffer is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360 and Hirsch, Wallerstein, Hayum, Matlof & Fishman and WKPR.
