Michael Cohen testified that Trump’s hush money payment to Stormy Daniels was all about the campaign and had nothing to do with his family.

(Trump) said to me, ‘This is a disaster, a total disaster, women are going to hate me. This is really a disaster. Women will hate me. Guys, they think it’s cool. But this will be a disaster for the campaign. “I want you to postpone it as long as possible, get past the elections, because if I win, it has no relevance because I am president. and if I lose, I don’t even care.
“He wasn’t even thinking about Melania, this was all about the campaign.”
Here’s how little Trump cared about his wife:
COHEN BOMBSHELL TESTIMONY: Trump said he had to delay paying Stormy Daniels until after the election because the story wasn’t relevant if he won or lost: ‘I really don’t care.’ He didn’t care about Melania, noting he wouldn’t be on the market for long. pic.twitter.com/kpd5mZj4Tj

The facts are clear. The idea that Donald Trump had was whether he could bury the story until after the election. If he won the election, Trump thought the story would disappear and no longer matter, which seems very Trumpian thinking.
If Trump thought the story would go away and have no political ramifications, why did he illegally conceal the refunds to Cohen as legal services?
If the payments were legal, why hide them?
The answer to that question seems to be that Trump knew this story would have consequences no matter when it came out. Donald Trump tried to bury the story forever by labeling the payments to Cohen illegal. Trump didn’t want to leave breadcrumbs for reporters to find later.
Donald Trump has never shown an ounce of genuine concern for his family, and if he was that concerned about his family, he could have bought the Daniels story at any time over the last decade.
He chose not to do so until the presidential campaign, and that decision reveals his true motive.
Michael Cohen blew Trump’s defense to bits.
