Justin TimberlakeThe singer’s attorney may be convinced that the singer wasn’t drunk during his DWI arrest… but new police documents paint a completely different picture of JT’s condition on June 18.
In the documents … the pop star verbally refused a breathalyzer test three times after being pulled over by a novice cop Michael Arkinson for running a stop sign in Sag Harbor.
According to Arkinson’s notes, he followed the field procedure, during which he observed several signs of JT’s alleged intoxication… including the smell of alcohol, glassy eyes, divided attention, and an unsteady footing. Daily email was the first to break the news.
It seems that JT’s poise was the last straw for Arkinson, who noted that the singer had trouble passing some sobriety tests. For starters, Justin was “very unbalanced” during a walk-and-turn test and did not follow instructions correctly.

For the test itself, Justin had to walk in a straight line while taking 9 steps… with his heel directly in front of his toe. Justin was then asked to turn around and repeat the steps. According to the report, Justin took an incorrect turn during this test… when he turned around [the] wrong way” and “used [his] heel.”
Justin was further instructed to raise one foot off the ground without moving for 30 seconds… but he failed to keep his balance… and he put his foot down before the allotted time was up, according to the report.
Between these results and his repeated refusal to take a breathalyzer test, Arkinson made the decision to arrest Justin, who was handcuffed and taken to the local police station.
Arkinson took an inventory of JT’s belongings during the arrest, including a Rolex watch, a black vape pen, a gold ring and some cash in his wallet.

This story is a striking departure from Justin’s lawyer’s claim… the lawyer previously stated the singer was not drunk during the traffic stop, and asked the court to dismiss the case due to paperwork errors.
Justin was eventually charged again on August 2, when it was confirmed that he permit was suspended.
