As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Secret Service agents tasked with protecting Hunter at his Malibu mansion racked up a bill of more than $4.5 million in just over a year by working around the clock to provide protection.
The money, amounting to $1.12 million, was allocated to various expenses, including hotel room accommodation for the security details.
The records further showed that a significant portion, $632,071, was spent on rental cars used by the officers who oversaw Hunter’s security while living in a lavish property that cost $20,000 a month. In addition, the Secret Service spent $30,000 monthly to rent a nearby property near where Hunter and his family lived.
