Unions representing 9,000 health care workers in Nova Scotia say they have reached a tentative contract with the province.
The Council of Health Unions says an agreement was reached early on Friday, after a long negotiating session that started on Thursday.

Sandra Mullen, president of the leading union, the NSGEU, says the agreement is a good deal and the bargaining committee recommends it to union members.
No details have been released and the unions say their members will vote on the deal by the middle of next week.
