Biden will land at Denver International Airport on Friday evening. She will speak and then participate in a roundtable discussion at noon Saturday at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora.

President Joe Biden announced the launch of the women’s health research initiative in November, led by the first lady and the White House Gender Policy Council. Biden during his State of the Union address called on Congress to invest $12 billion for research in this area.

“Despite women making up more than half of the population, women have historically been understudied and underrepresented in health research,” according to a White House press release.
