‘Dora’ Revival Renewed for Season 2 at Paramount+

Paramount+ has renewed its new “Dora” series for a second season.

Based on “Dora the Explorer,” which ran on Nickelodeon from 2000 to 2019, the animated preschool series follows a Dora (voiced by Diana Zermeño) and her best friend, a monkey named Boots (Asher Colton Spence), as they board a ship to go. adventures in a fantastic rainforest. Guided by their trusty-talking Map (Anairis Quiñones), Dora and her friends must work together to overcome many obstacles while being challenged by a sneaky fox named Swiper (Marc Weiner). Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora the Explorer, voices Dora’s mother, also known as Mami.

“Dora” is produced by Nickelodeon Animation and created by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh Valdes, who co-created the original “Dora the Explorer” with Eric Weiner. Gifford and Valdes are producing along with Rich Magallanes. Henry Lenardin-Madden serves as co-executive producer and Alejandro Bien-Willner as story editor. Marielle Kaar is the director of Nickelodeon and responsible for the production of the series.
