Diddy missing some important milestones for his children as his legal troubles mount – and this week he will go missing in the latest involving his 17-year-old daughter Opportunity.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Chance will don her cap and gown for her graduation from Sierra Canyon School here in the LA area on Thursday – and while we’re told other family members will fly in for the ceremony, her father will to be absent.
We’re told Diddy has already relayed this news to the family, although he hasn’t given an exact reason for his absence – but it can’t be that shocking to them.
We’re told the family suspects it has something to do with it all his legal issues these days, and his desire to hide. Makes sense… if Diddy showed up, it could easily turn into a spectacle that would steal Chance’s thunder.
As for who exactly will be attending Chance’s graduation ceremony…our sources say some of her half-siblings would be there, as well as some of her siblings. Kim Porter‘s family too. Diddy shares Chance with Sarah Chapman.

By the way, Chance isn’t the only kid he currently has in high school — Jessie And D’Lilathe twins he had with Kim, his juniors who went to prom a few weeks ago… an event that Diddy also missed because he stays in Miami.
We should note that Diddy has been quite an involved parent with his children over the years – especially with the girls, who were actually with him when the raids went down back in March.
You remember he was getting ready to take them over spring break when the FBI showed up intercepted his private jet in Florida. He has been staying at or near his home in Miami ever since.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that federal authorities have not restricted his travel in any way.
Translation: The fact that he’s missing big moments for his kids is entirely his choice, and not something imposed by the police.
The fact is, Diddy might be on the edge of an indictment, and while he’s trying to carry on as normally as possible… it’s honestly a precarious time, and it sounds like he’s trying to avoid dragging his kids into the drama.
For now, the girls rely on the support of other family members, and for Diddy… there’s always Zoom or FaceTime.
