Ginny Fuchs’ journey in boxing started during her sophomore year of college as a way to stay in shape. After discovering a passion for the sport, she devoted herself to training and quickly rose through the ranks.
She achieved notable success on the amateur circuit, winning three Louisiana Golden Gloves titles and a national Golden Gloves championship in 2015. Fuchs also competed at the highest level, finishing fourth at the Olympic Test Event and ultimately qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Despite her impressive amateur career, Ginny Fuchs narrowly missed out on a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics, falling in the round of 16. However, she continued to excel in the amateur arena, winning bronze at the 2018 AIBA World Championship.
Virginia Fuchs’ professional career to date
Fuchs made the transition to professional boxing in December 2021 and has quickly established himself as a rising star. She has built a solid record, winning all of her professional fights, including impressive victories over Randee Lynn Morales, Gemma Ruegg and Indeya Smith.
