CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz, 59, is facing backlash for sending angry customers $10 Uber Eats vouchers as an apology for last week’s chaotic global IT outage.

Bumbling cybersecurity company CrowdStrike and CEO George Kurtz are under scrutiny for sending $10 Uber Eats gift cards to customers affected by last week’s global IT outage — and many of the gift cards don’t even work.

RadarOnline.com can confirm CrowdStrike, the company that does that crashed Millions of computers around the world offered their partners $10 Uber Eats codes as an apology for the chaos after a failed update on Friday.

One CrowdStrike partner uploaded this company email to social media on Wednesday.

According to an email from CrowdStrike, the company offered the defective gift cards in recognition of “the additional work the July 19 incident caused.”

The email read: “And for that, we send our sincere thanks and apologies for the inconvenience.

“To express our gratitude, your next cup of coffee or late night snack is ready for us!”

But the embattled company and its 59-year-old CEO were confronted more control over social media after sending a paltry $10 Uber Eats to its customers – especially after many recipients realized the voucher couldn’t even be used for a much-needed ‘cup of coffee’ or ‘late night snack’.

One customer went to

Another disgruntled customer responded with a seething response to the meager olive branch: “HEY CrowdStrike and George Kurtz, where’s my $10 Uber Eats gift card!? I want my g—— bean burrito now. I am a customer – I bought a license 2 days ago to find me some 0 days.

“So I believe I am entitled to my $10 gift card.”

One partner said, “HEY CrowdStrike and George Kurtz, where’s my $10 Uber Eats gift card!?”

“These cards are not even for affected people, but for companies that use their services. Delta Airlines? Equals ONE $10 gift card.”

Many of those who posted about the $10 gift cards said they received an error message from Uber Eats explaining that the voucher “has been canceled by the issuing party and is no longer valid.”

CrowdStrike spokesperson Kevin Benacci confirmed that the cybersecurity company has issued Uber Eats gift cards. He also confirmed that some vouchers had been deactivated because they had been ‘marked as fraud’.

Benacci said Wednesday: “We sent these to our teammates and partners who have been helping customers through this situation.

This was the picture faced by millions of users around the world on Friday after CrowdStrike launched a broken update for almost every Microsoft Windows system.

Congress has since called for a hearing to investigate the massive mess that has wreaked havoc around the world and left businesses, banks, hospitals and airlines offline for most of the day.

Former President Donald Trump‘s ties to the controversial cybersecurity company were, too exposed amid the chaos of IT failures – as Trump, 78, once did wrongly claimed CrowdStrike helped Ukraine hack the DNC and frame Russia in connection with his presidential victory in 2016.
