Chloe Bailey deleted her social media apps from her phone after the backlash she received.
Speaking The Tamron Hall Showthe In piece singer opened up about her decision and the criticism she received after her NSFW scene on Amazon Prime Swarm premiered.
According to Bailey, her mind became clearer after she left social media.
“The negative things people said about me were affecting me, and I noticed that if I went on stage or ‘if I do this, people are going to say this,'” she said. “…and I realized that I was changing myself for other people and their opinions and what they originally accused me of, which was not being myself and being forced, that’s what I tuned out because I was so concerned with what people thought about me, but the second time I deleted the apps from my phone.”
