Caylee Cowan and Jesse Metcalfe lead ‘The Possession at Gladstone Manor’

Umbrelic Entertainment has revealed the cast of the upcoming horror film “The Possession at Gladstone Manor,” including Caylee Cowan (“Hypnotic”), Jesse Metcalfe (“John Tucker Must Die”), Charlotte Kirk (“The Reckoning”) , Darren Weiss (“Inside Man”), Barbara Crampton (“You’re Next”), William Mapother (“Blackhat”) and Lin Shaye (“Insidious” franchise).

Production is currently underway in Kansas City, with AMP’s Anthony Buckner handling international sales at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

According to an official logline, “The Possession at Gladstone Manor” begins when Jamie Black discovers her mother is missing [and] decides to investigate by applying for the same job as her mother at Gladstone Manor. Jamie soon finds evidence that her mother is not the only missing person, and that she may be dealing with sinister forces beyond this world.”

“As die-hard fans of the horror genre, this project feels like a dream come true,” said producer Thomas Zambeck. “We are thrilled to bring this dark vision to life and scare audiences for years to come with this timeless story.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to work with this incredible cast and my wonderful production partners,” said director K. Asher Levin. “Together we plan to create new nightmares that Wes Craven would be proud of.”

Producers of “The Possession at Gladstone Manor” include Katz, Zambeck, Justin Rious and Chirs Knitter. Sean Krajeski, Ronnie Exley and Jemery Ross are executive producers under the Rabbits Black Venture banner.

Cowan is represented by Buchwald. Metcalfe is repped by Gersh and managed by Link Entertainment. Kirk is represented by Mavrick Artists Agency. Weiss is represented by LATalent. Crampton is represented by Amsel, Eisenstadt, Frazier & Hinojosa Talent Agency. Both Shaye and Mapother are represented by Julia Buchwald. Levin is repped by LBI Entertainment.
