Bulldogs winger Josh Addo-Carr will miss eight to 10 weeks after suffering a major hamstring tear in Friday’s win over the Knights.
Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould revealed the unfortunate news on social media, with Addo-Carr becoming the latest victim of the NRL’s 2024 hamstring crisis.
Addo-Carr – who played a starring role following his dismissal from the NSW Origin squad – retired early in the second half with the injury.
He immediately limped into the tunnel and was excluded from the match.

Meanwhile, the Knights also suffered a worrying injury blow when Daniel Safiti was forced off the field in the first half.
Saifiti staggered to his feet after making a tackle and fought on for a few more minutes, but limped off the field – pointing towards his left knee at a trainer.
Saifiti made his return after a one-match ban for a high tackle but is now adding to Newcastle’s injury problems including Kalyn Ponga, Bradman Best and Tyson Gamble.
