Becky G will release a new album on October 10, the singer confirmed Thursday with the release of a new single called “Como Diablos” (via Kemosabe Records/Sony Music Latin/RCA Records). Her fourth studio album will be called ‘Encuentros’ and will coincide with the dates of her upcoming tour, ‘Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo’. (Another chapter).”
“Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo” is an extension of Becky’s first headlining tour. The trek was in support of her 2023 album, ‘Esquinas’, which featured collaborations with Peso Pluma, Ivan Cornejo, DannyLux and other outstanding acts from the new wave of music. music mexicana which has gained momentum in recent years.
In a post uploaded to her social media, Becky wrote“My last album Esquinas ignited a fire in my creative soul that brought new colors into my world and deep down I knew I couldn’t stop there… So I didn’t. Since last year I have continued to discover, feel, heal and create. I have now poured all the parts of me that I have found along the way into this album with so much love and dedication. You said you wanted more, and so did I. Por las Esquinas de la vida, nos Encontramos otra vez (“At every corner of life we will find each other again.”)
Her new single ‘Como Diablos’ is a continuation of that trumpet-driven musical style and was written by Sara Schell and Hector Enrique Guerrero, who also co-wrote her previous release ‘Mercedes’.
Becky will tour Mexican American communities across the United States, starting in Chicago, Illinois, and making 14 stops in cities including Milwaukee, San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas and San Diego.
