Swift remained silent about the election until she publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Instagram after the final presidential debate.
The pop star claimed she decided to support the VP after learning that AI images Trump shared of Swift appeared to support him instead.
She wrote: “It really raised my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading disinformation. It made me conclude that I need to be very transparent about my real plans for this election as a voter.”
