It looks like the start of WeHo Pride this weekend will be more tense than festive… we’ve learned that police are bracing for the worst amid recent global events.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … as the Pro-Palestine Rally took place in West Hollywood on Saturday, linked to anger from Donald Trump supporters about his recent conviction in the hush money casethe police prepare for a rocky ride.
We’re told there will be uniformed officers everywhere, along with plainclothes officers and a heavy dose of surveillance.
Our sources say strike teams of specially trained officers will also be on standby, ready to quickly address any issues raised by the crowds to prevent things from spiraling out of control.

The authorities tell us there is no problem with protesting, but if things take a violent turn, they will not hesitate to end it. Those guilty of violence will be quickly arrested.
There are no known issues on the radar at this time…but the LASD is prepared for anything because their mission is to keep the atmosphere fun and people safe.
